Which Data Do You Need?

Access to the Data Warehouse is provided by data collection.  Your Unit Security Contact must request your access to each of the data collections that you desire to use to create custom reports or data downloads.

Student Data Access Requirements

If you require access to any Student data, you must complete the federally mandated FERPA training as outlined by University policy. FERPA training is administered by each campus OAR office. To complete the training:

UIC: Complete the online training program at https://registrar.uic.edu/ferpa/
UIS: Complete the online training program at https://www.uis.edu/registrar/academic-records
UIUC: Complete the online training program at https://registrar.illinois.edu/training-ferpa

Report Developer Responsibilities

Your access to the data in the Data Warehouse has been granted based on business need and it is your responsibility to ensure the information you access is used appropriately.

About Application Accounts

Application accounts are defined as logons designated for a computer application or group of applications. They are often needed in units where a scheduled application retrieves data via download from the Data Warehouse.
