AITS Strategic Plan
The AITS Strategic Plan outlines the information technology strategies and initiatives and is designed to be a three-year IT plan that evolves with collaborative input alongside other strategic plans throughout the University of Illinois System.
Design Standards
AITS supports numerous digital tools that aid in the operation of the entire University of Illinois System. These web and mobile applications are used by a diverse userbase made up of students, faculty, staff and others to assist them in the various tasks needed to keep the university running smoothly. A single individual will likely use multiple applications during their time at the university, and since each of these applications represent the university, it is imperative that they all offer a consistent and high-quality experience. Having a set of standards for our applications is a key part of achieving this goal. These standards cover three main areas: usability, accessibility, and visual design.
Gartner Research
The Gartner Group is a research and advisory company focused on information technology (IT) technologies, practices, and strategies. It provides analysis to corporate, government, and higher education clients through a variety of media, including the Gartner Research website. This research and analysis can be used throughout the University for planning, decision making, and measurement purposes for making continual process improvements towards industry best practices.
IT Governance
IT Governance coordinates and facilitates the interconnected committees that evaluate and recommend IT direction in support of research, teaching and learning, and public engagement.
