Description
This Universe was created as part of the Whole Person Payroll Project. The Universe is over data structures that store Person and Appointment information related to Payrolls. It stores this information as of the last date of the pay period. This data does not get updated when somebody goes into Banner and does a retroactive update. The data is static. The purpose of this Universe is to help with the reconciliation Payroll.
Payroll Reconciliation provides an integrated view of existing human resources (HR) and payroll data that supports payroll verification and analysis. It provides users with easier access to data about gross pay as of a payroll period as well as the significant job, position, employee, CFOAPA, and pay variables that determine gross pay. Payroll Reconciliation saves time, increases accuracy, provides reproducible results, and proves easier to use.
With Payroll Reconciliation, users can easily identify people who:
- Have been paid by the user's organization but who are from a different home organization
- Were paid from a different CFOAPA than what was established for the job
- Were paid form a different CFOAPA than in the previous pay period
The Payroll Reconciliation product is updated with monthly payroll runs early in each month. The database will maintain two full fiscal years of data in addition to the current fiscal year (year-to-date) data.
