Project Kick-offs

View the Pre-flight Readiness Check

#1ReVIEW PROJECT Pre-flight checkLIST WITH CORE TEAM

Representatives for the core roles (project management, development, design, and analysis) should meet once a project/work request is approved, and work through the Preflight Readiness Check. Record your answers and reach consensus on how communication and project management tasks will be handled by the group; answers should be saved in the project collaboration hub.

#2IDENTIFY documentation and communication tools

Microsoft Teams is the collaboration hub and SharePoint is the repository. Microsoft Office 360 applications are preferred for content creation. If non-Microsoft products are used, integrate them into MS Teams so everything is in one place.  Depending on the scale of the project and the team's preferences, timetracking, and other tools may need to be set up.

#3Develop agenda for Project Kickoff meeting

The Project pre-flight readiness check helps identify key questions and areas for clarification. It helps put structure to the Project Kick-off meeting with the project team and clients.
